Managing Director of CUcorp’s Center for Board Excellence
Mike Moyes works as the Managing Director of CUcorp’s Center for Board Excellence division, a provider of Policy & Board Governance, Strategic Planning Facilitation, Return on Assets Improvement and Field of Membership Expansion consulting services.
With over 23 years of experience in the credit union industry, most recently as SVP of Operations at Mountain America Credit Union ($3 Billion in Assets) and President/CEO of Salt Lake Credit Union $265 Million in Assets). Moyes has also worked as a Chief Financial Officer of University of Utah Credit Union and the Director of Consulting Services for the Utah League of Credit Unions.
Moyes holds a Master’s Degree in Business Information Systems and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He is a Graduate of CUNA’s “CEO Boot Camp”, where he was elected President of his class. Moyes has served as a Board of Director for the CUES Council and the Salt Lake Community College.
As a frequent speaker to Board of Directors and at Conferences, Moyes has expertise in Strategic Planning, Board Governance, ROA and Capital Improvement, Market Branding, Asset Liability Management, Building your Branch Network and SEG/ New-Member Development.
